VBA plans to field three girls teams and four boys teams for the 2024 Post Season. Tournaments will include Happy Volley (Girls), East Coast Championships (Boys), SoCal Cup Showcase (Boys 18s), and AAU Nationals (Girls and Boys).

The Boys 23-24 Post-Season Club Travel Volleyball

After a successful season with multiple bids to USAV Boys Junior Nationals, we have taken a break for the Boys High School Volleyball Seasons and will pick up again for a TWO MONTH POST-SEASON.

VBA has decided to not accept the BIDS to the USAV Boys Nationals  instead travel to AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida.  We believe  that it will offer a better competitive and social experience for our club.  

The Girls 23-24 Post-Season Club Travel Volleyball

VBA is excited to offer the Post-Season for the first time for our Girls Program!! We will travel to two sleep-away tournaments - Happy Volley in PA and the Girls AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida.  We are looking forward to a BIG turnout so that we can field a number of teams!

How much will it cost?

Post-season tuition is $2,500 which includes cost of uniforms, 16 practices, coaches, scrimmages, uniforms, and tournaments. NYC VBA does offer a Tuition Assistance Program for any athlete that has been offered a position on a team. 

Does my athlete need to try out for a particular position?

Our philosophy at NYC VBA is that young volleyball players should be well-rounded athletes and be a smart player on the court at all times.  To this end, we will not require players to commit to a particular position until they have completed a few years of club level playing so we will ask our athletes for U15 and older to sign up for a specialized position. 

Travel Information

All athletes are responsible for their own transportation, food and hotels / lodging for ALL OF THE POST-SEASON TOURNAMENTS.  Athletes and families are NOT required to stay in the VBA Hotel room blocks if you want to arrange alternative lodging.  Athletes can stay with their parents or arrange to stay together on their own.  The Post-Season travel arrangements are different than our Regular Season travel arrangements - the Club does not arrange for hotel rooms for athletes.

As part of the VBA experience, we will request team parents to chaperone (optionally) during the tournaments to arrange team bonding activities and dinners throughout the weekends.

Practice Information

The turnaround for our GIRLS regular season and post-season is ONE WEEK!  Our Boys will break after the regular season for the Boys Scholastic Season and then pickup BOYS post-season at the same time as the girls.   We will target 16 Post-Season Practices at the following locations below.
